Tudor vs San Martin: A quick look at the Tudor Black Bay 58 and the San Martin SN008 Homage

This is by no means a shoot-out or comparison video. I just thought it&be worth the time showing you these two watches together and talk about their differences and what each brings to the table. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight 79303N has become an instant classic since it&launch in 2018. from it&size to build quality, it offers so much and can easily be the ONE watch. I think it has stepped out from the "Rolex alternative" shadows. The San Martin homage is yet another homage watch from the Chinese brand. While there&two camps on all these homage watches, I have to admit (as a watch reviewer) that it is very well-built and pure value-for-money. I am surprised that I actually prefer the mostly brushed finishes on the San Martin and its thinner profile (11.5mm vs 12mm). At the end of the day, it is clear that the Tudor is the better watch (movement, design, build). It has to be because it costs ten times more.
