Maytronics-Dolphin pool cleaner, Dolphin Diagnostic

Not sure I would recommend this cleaner over a traditional suction side cleaner or pressure side cleaner. It&pretty heavy when you try and get it out of the pool. It is also very expensive, and only runs for 3 hours at a time. I have one customer who just refuses to put it in the pool because she can&pull it out by herself. It is a monster of a cleaner. The cord also gets tangled over time and no matter what I do I can&seem to keep it from getting twisted up. I guess it is a good concept if your pool cannot use a more traditional suction side cleaner due to overwhelming debris in your pool, but it will get stuck on big debris too just as most suction side cleaners can&handle large debris (pine cones, large oak nuts, maple tree seed pods to name a few). It does clean the pool pretty well, but you will need to reset the on/off switch if you want to run it everyday like a traditional suction side or pressure side cleaner. Some purchasers have complaints about the life span of this cleaner, particularly the motor that drives it. Some positive notes: They filter about 5000 gallons per hour so in 3 hours that&about a half day&filtration. It is ultra energy efficient since you do not have to run the pool pump to clean the pool.
