The Nissan Qashqai is a compact crossover produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan since 2006. For the first generation, the Qashqai sold under the name Nissan Dualis in Japan and Australia. Now in its second generation, which was released in 2014, the new model is only badged as Qashqai. The original Qashqai replaced the off-road capable body-on-frame Mistral/Terrano II as Nissan&SUV offering and its P32L automobile platform will be also used by other forthcoming Nissan crossover SUVs. The Honda HR-V is a nameplate that Honda used on two generations of subcompact crossover SUV. The first generation HR-V was based on Honda Logo and sold in Japan and selective Asian-Pacific markets between 1999 and 2006. The second generation HR-V was based on third-generation Honda Fit and went on sale in North America, Australia, Brazil, and selective Asian markets in 2015. The second generation HR-V was largely identical to Japan-market Honda Vezel which went on sale in late 2013.
