Land Rover LR3 door locking problems? Some videos mention bending catch arms inside the LR3 door actuator mechanism, but this is not guaranteed to work and could actually cost you a whole new mechanism. The cause of this failure is a small stepper motor inside the actuator mechanism that locks the door. These motors are easy to find on Ebay, and only cost a couple of Dollars.
