Il brano fu composto per commemorare la presa della maggiore fortezza ottomana, «İsmail» da parte dell&Imperiale Russo guidato dal Generalissimo Aleksandr Vasil&Suvorov. Tale evento pose fine alla Seconda Guerro Russo-Turca. The Anthem «Let the thunder of victory sound» was an unofficial Russian National Anthem in the late 18th and early 19th century. The song was written to commemorate the capture of major Ottoman fortress, «İsmail», by the Russian Imperial Army led by the great Russian General, Aleksandr Vasil&Suvorov. This event effectively ended the Second Russo-Turkish War.
