How to Convert .STL to a Solid Model in Fusion 360 // In this quick tip, I&show you how to convert an .STL model into a Solid model using the Mesh to bRep tool in Fusion 360. Then, after converting the model I will show you how to merge some of the faces within the Patch mode in Fusion 360. Important to note - Fusion does limit the number of faces that can be converted using the Mesh to bRep tool. If your STL file has an extremely high number of faces...over 10,000+, then you can reduce the number of faces before trying to convert it. If you don&reduce the number of faces your model either won&convert or it will be EXTREMELY slow and you won&be able to work with it anyway.
