My first tip is always use a Terry Cloth Mit or Terry Cloth wash rag that is intended for either automotive or motorcycles. Bath rags can be a bit abrasive on paint. Softer the better! My 2nd tip is about how to dry the bike off. If you try to dry your bike with rags, it can take forever. Most times you will get spotting because the bike drip drys faster than you can wipe it down. Save time and effort using a regular leaf blower. No need to spend a ton of money on a Motorcycle blower. All works the same. The majority of the water will run off when using the blower. Come back with super soft cloths intended for vehicles to dry your bike. 3rd and final tip, I always use a product like Ice to seal the wash we just did. The debate is endless on the best product.
