dbx 266xs Compressor with Korg EMX - Sidechain Compression Test

Just a short video to show sidechain compression applied to the Electribe EMX. I put the kick on the 3/4 bus and plugged the 3 output into the the dbx channel 1 sidechain input on dbx. The EMX 1/2 was split to send EMX channel 1 to dbx channel 1 and EMX 2 to dbx 2. The song is a factory pre-loaded song. NOTE: I had to insert a cable into the dbx channel 2 sidechain input even though the cable was not plugged into anything else. Some people have said that this can be done with a mini to 1/4 inch stereo adapter as well.
