Turbo Actuator Soldered Repair - Jeep Grand Cherokee WK/WH 3.0 CRD OM642

In this video I carry out a repair to solder in two wires in the electronic side of the turbo actuator solenoid, following detachment of the original wires. The vehicle had lost turbo boost and the automatic transmission would no longer kick down. These were the original fault codes: P0046 - Turbocharger boost control circuit performance. P0244 - Turbocharger wastegate actuator "a" range performance This is the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK/WH 3.0 CRD which has the Mercedes-Benz derived OM642 engine, as fitted in various MB cars (including Sprinter van) and several Chrysler vehicles.
