2018 Mini Clubman S ALL4 Cabin Air Filter, Engine Air Filter, Oil Change

Fun with the F54! Since this cabin filter was such a pain and so different from the previous generation, I thought I&post a video to make this easier for anyone else looking to DIY! Cabin air filter: 2x Torx 20 screws for trim plate above passenger feet; disconnect accessory light. 1x Torx 20 screw for the trim plate to the left of the passenger feet. The cabin air filter door is up & behind that. plate. Engine air filter: Just 3x Torx 25 screws. This takes 5 minutes. Oil Change: Open bonnet, open oil cap Jack car up from behind front left tire Open access flaps with large flat head Drain engine oil, replace plug washer and torque plug (25NM) Drain filter oil (Torx 55 OEM, some after-market are 13mm socket) Remove filter cap (32mm shallow socket) Depress spring valve up in filter compartment to drain more oil, confirm it is moving. Replace filter, gaskets, filter plug (if needed) Torque filter cap (25NM) Torque drain plug (5NM, hand-tight. Remember, it&plastic) Close access flaps Lower vehicle Refill engine with oil (~6qt 0W-20 synthetic, or whatever your spec is) Reset maintenance lights
