The Evnia 49M2C8900, a competitor to the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD, has been unveiled by Philips. The Evnia 49M2C8900 has a 49-inch QD-OLED panel, a 1440p resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and contemporary I/O. For its new ultra-wide gaming monitor, Philips has also disclosed its price and availability. A new gaming monitor has been released by Philips under the Evnia brand, which it debuted in 2017. The Evnia 49M2C8900, according to Philips, uses a QD-OLED panel with an output resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels, a 109 PPI, and a 32:9 aspect ratio. The monitor also has an 1800R curvature, matching the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD&curvature. Additionally, the Evnia 49M2C8900 combines its full surface brightness of 250 nits with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution. When viewing HDR content, the monitor must, however, be able to reach 1,000 ints (APL 3%) or higher. Additionally, the Evnia 49M2C8900 is certified to cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and 125% of Adobe RGB. Philips also included Ambiglow lighting, 30 W speakers, and 90 W charging through an integrated USB Type-C port.
