This is the third and last part of my Casio MZ-2000 All Styles series. Every styles included in this video : - Latin 2 - American - World/Various The MZ 2000 was Casio&arranger flagship at the end of the 1990&It was by far more advanced than any arrangers Casio released in the past. They wanted a new keyboard which could compete with every other big names, like Yamaha and their PSR-9000, Technics with them KN6000 or even Gem with the great WK-8. As always, the price was a lot cheaper. The sounds and styles are less well than what you could get from the other famous companies. At least if you don&tweak them, because there is a lot of room for enhancement with this MZ-2000. On the other hand, some other things are simply better that what you could get from Yamaha, Korg or even Roland. First, the organs drawbar options were better than most other arrangers. You can change their settings on the fly with the use of 9 faders. Also, the OS is one of the most user friendly (and powerful) I have ever seen for an arranger from this area. There are plenty of possibilities, and most of them were just greatly designed. The 9 faders can control most everything possible. From a single touch, you can assigned them to the synth part and tweak the sounds on the fly ! Speaking about the synthesizer possibilities, Casio made one of the best all-in-one/workstation arranger (Gem remained the best in this field). Finally, on the effects side, this Casio comes with 4 DSP, 1 reverb, 1 chorus...
