After discovering a breach, the recruits stumble upon the Titans inside the city, resulting in huge losses for the Garrison. Among them are Thomas Wagner, Mina Carolina, Nak Tias, Milius Zelmski, Marco Bott and Mitabi Jarnach. However, the entire civilian population was evacuated within hours of the breach being discovered, thanks to soldiers such as Mikasa Ackerman. This is also the area where Eren Yeager and the rest of the recruits discovered his Changeling abilities. This prompts the Garrison, under the command of Dot Pixis, to develop a plan to close the breach using a huge boulder. The area is saved when Eren transforms into his Titan form and
