Part 9F - Mercruiser 4.3 V6 Rebuild - Carburetor Install

This video is showing me about to install the carburetor. It was cut short but the gist of it is you place the gasket on the manifold and lower the carb down on the 4 studs. You install the 1/2” nut on the back left stud first because you have to lift and hover the carb to start and screw down the nut to allow room for an 1/2” open end wrench to turn the nut. A closed end wrench will get stuck on the nut because there’s no way to get it off the nut due to the carb forming a sort of cave around the nut. Once the back left nut is turned down about halfway, you can then drop the carburetor down on the manifold and install the other three nuts with a 1/2” socket. Pretty simple stuff.
