A field review of the Crossfire Packs DG3 Slick Rucksack. This is a bombproof, quality rucksack, designed to Milspec standards. I have used the standard Crossfire DG3 for 3 years now, and have field trialled the new Slick version for the last few months, in challenging UK Winter conditions in the Brecon Beacons, the Lake District and Snowdonia. The DG3 Slick is more of a &Man&version of the standard DG3, and does away with the PALS webbing and external frame. It is made in a less tactical colour, although this brown/green works well in the forest. It is a great option for bushcrafting, prepping, or for those operators requiring a lower tactical signature. The load carriage is 55L and it weighs 2.2KG empty. It features an internal frame, a great load carriage system, awesome organisational capability, and a fill length zip down the front, allowing you to access all your gear without having to pull everything out. You can get yours here; Stay Prepared!
