An Italian haircut experience in historic Art Nouveau barbershop, Antica Barberia Giacalone (Ancient Barber Shop Giacalone) in Genova, Italy. Situated in the heart of the old quarters maze of alleyways is this authentic old barbershop. Originally opened in 1908 by Emanuele Giacaloneto to serve the local sailors and dock workers. The Art Nouveau interior was completed in the 1920's. The shop remained in the family and open until Giacaloneto's son died. In 1992 with the assistance and interest of the Italian National Trust, Antica Barberia Giacaloneto was once again opened to the public in its original bygone era and ambiance.
