Fujifilm X-T30 vs X-T30ii: What's the Difference?

Fujifilm has rarely released an updated version of a camera in the middle of a generation cycle. The only time I can remember them doing it was with the X-E2S, which had a slight hardware change, but essentially the same camera. Fujifilm did update the hardware slightly on the new X-T30ii; but it seems it was done just so they could call it a Mark ii version. Without the bare minimum hardware update, people would call foul for basically a firmware update. The camera itself is still competitive within Fujifilm&ecosystem of prosumer cameras, sitting comfortably between the IBIS equipped X-S10 and the selfie-screen X-E4.
