HUGE Unknown Hydraulic Elevator at Freer Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.

Recorded: 2/29/2020 This is the Smithsonian Freer Gallery of Art, not to be confused with the National Gallery of Art. This elevator shuttles between the lower level and basement, which connects to level B1 of the Sackler Gallery. I¬ sure if this one was newly installed or fully replaced (which technically is also a new install). I feel like there would have been an elevator here before, but this does not at all seem like a mod. It does use an EPIC dry-powered hydraulic motor. It is probably either an MCE or Smartrise model and controller.
