how to use dedicated gpu on vscode, visualstudiocode, vscode not using dedicated GPU, AMD & Nvidia graphics cards [INFO] In today&video, I show you how to enable and use your dedicated GPU/Graphics card on Visual Studio Code if VSCode isn&already utilizing your graphics card. [TEXT GUIDE] [1] Open Visual Studio Code. Then, either search for it or right-click the taskbar and open the task manager. [2] Ensure that you click "more details" and then select "processes" at the top. [3] Locate "Visual Studio Code," right-click on it, and choose "Open file location." [4] Now, close both the task manager and Visual Studio Code. Copy the file directory from the File Explorer you just opened: C:UsersComplexNekoAppDataLocalProgramsMicrosoft VS Code [5] Once you have copied the file directory, search for "Graphic settings" in the bottom left. [6] When "Graphic settings" loads, click on "browse." Another File Explorer window will appear. Paste the previously copied file directory at the top and press enter. [7] After doing that, locate code.exe, select it, and click on "add." [8] An option named "Visual Studio Code" should appear in your graphics settings. [9] Click on "Visual Studio Code," select "Options," and then click on "High Performance" to choose your graphics card. Click "save" and close the graphics settings.
