Southern Palm Beach Resort Review

Welcome to Southern Palms Beach Resort, located on the beautiful white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean at Diani Beach just 35 km south of Mombasa, on the Kenya coast. This Beach Resort, was opened in 1992, has a unique blend of buildings designed in traditional Swahili and Arabic architecture. With 298 air-conditioned double bedrooms and 2 deluxe suites overlooking 2 large free form swimming pools, is set in some 5 hectares of mature tropical gardens and coconut palms, the Resort gives a feeling of ample space and peace. The Main Restaurant provides a full buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Full-board meal plan includes lunch in the Main Restaurant and afternoon tea. The Boriti Snack Restaurant during the day serves a selection of a la carte dishes. During the evening, the Manyatta Restaurant specializes in grilled meats and fish. The La Via Romana Italian Restaurant provides waiter service from a limited menu selection. There are no additional costs. Reservations are required. Dinner may be interchanged with lunch (when ordered for a la carte dinner), but prior arrangements have to be made. Special request for a la carte orders for a Spiny Langouste, (a tropical version of the lobster without claws) crab, prawns or steaks are always available from any restaurant.
