Track Time Titans
One of the most infamous accidents in Formula 1 history, now in 3D. Enjoy the crashalong! Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost came together late in the 1989 Japanese Grand Prix. After losing the lead at the start, this championship defining crash looked like Senna trying a desperate late-braking overtake. But Prost might be more to blame for the crash. And by carefully recreating this accident in 3D, it can finally be seen from more angles. However, the main story behind this crash follows after the race. Senna is disqualified from illegally re-entering the track, meaning Prost wins the championship with a DNF. A controversial decision that reminiscent to the F1 2022 season finale between Hamilton and Verstappen at Abu Dhabi. Do you want to help me make new videos better and faster? It is not all simulated and I do not claim that the animation is 100% correct. It is based on the experience of a simple mechanical engineer with a fetish for crashes. #crash
