Hey Guys Nissan introduced the all-new 2024 Nissan Pathfinder crossover at the Shanghai Auto Show, which opened this week. Shanghai 2023: Nissan unveils a different Pathfinder for China The Nissan Pathfinder has a long and interesting history. Introduced in 1985, it started out as a small truck-based SUV. It grew in size for the second generation, putting it squarely in the midsize SUV class, and the Navara-based third-generation model even had a V8 option from the Patrol. But since 2012 it has been transformed into a crossover with most of the off-road hardware removed. The current generation, launched in 2022, continues with the crossover styling. Fast forward to Auto Shanghai 2023, and Nissan introduced another kind of 2024 Pathfinder. It&still a front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive crossover, but the exterior design is as futuristic as the Nissans. Nissan says it&a concept for now, but it looks pretty close to being a production model thanks to the large side mirrors. So, is this a new generation of Pathfinder? According to Nissan, not quite. It&the Pathfinder that the Chinese market will get once the production version rolls out later this year. It&similar to what Ford did with the Explorer when it offered a version for the Chinese market. Nissan hasn&mentioned anything about the platform, so it&likely a heavily reincarnated version of the fifth-generation model.
