Hi everyone and thank you for joining me in a very important pour. Tonight I&taking part in a special collaboration with 6 other artists for World Aids Day. Tonight, I&chosen to do a Split Cup Ring Pour for my piece. This beautiful piece of art dried amazingly and I&calling it Portal into Space. World AIDS Day takes place on 1 December each year. It&an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. World AIDS Day was Founded in 1988 and was the first ever global health day. HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that attacks the body&immune system. If HIV is not treated, it can lead to AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). There is currently no effective cure. Once people get HIV, they have it for life. But with proper medical care, HIV can be controlled. There&an estimated 38 million people who live with HIV. Despite the virus only being identified in 1984, more than 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS related illnesses. Getting tested is the only way to find out if you have HIV. If you don&know your HIV status, you can spread the disease and the spread of the disease continues to drive the numbers higher in the world. If you are living with HIV, starting treatment...
