Top reviews from the United States At least this one works... I have had my Lowrance Hook2 5X fish finder for just over 2 years. I have the transducer mounted inside the hull of my 12 foot fishing kayak, and had no issues with it for about a year, then it started giving me erroneous readings (.5&in 8&to 15&deep water, as an example) or it would cycle thru all of the depth ranges continuously. I don&fish that often, and thought maybe it was an error on my part, but it kept happening regardless of anything I did. (The unit also has Down Imaging, which worked perfectly thru all of this.
