Trackmania Retrospective [2003 - 2020]

Welcome to my retrospective of Trackmania! A long running arcade style racing game series with a twist. When I started planning this video, I was under the impression that there were only 4 or 5 games in the series, but the more I looked into it, the more games kept showing up! There’s so much to talk about in this episode, so please enjoy! Links: My Club on Trackmania 2020 - Search for RetroBreak Club Sunrise Flash Demo: I’ve never done a full video about PC games before, I’ve shied away from it for years because of how awkward it can be to get old games up and running, and it’s safe to say I ran into my fair share of problems with this one! I started out by trying to install the games on my old windows XP computer, but it decided to blow up! So we had to throw it out, and clear the air as it smelled of horrible electric sparks… I went into this video expecting to feel a bit of nostalgia, but nothing more. Playing these games though, especially the more recent entries, has rejuvenated my love of PC gaming! It really is a great experience to play this kind of creative game with a mouse and keyboard, yes it played good on the Wii and DS, but there’s really nothing better than designing a huge complex, challenging track, sending it out to the world to try and beat and watching people attempt your masterpiece!
