I recently bought an old Marshall AS80R mostly because I was interested in the ability to sing and play guitar at the same time. Yes, I know that there are a ton of great amps out there like the Fishmans or even the newer Marshall soloist series, but this one was inexpensive costing me around 250 dollars used and I just felt like trying it out. I will say right off the back I do really love this amp. It sounds great and the ability to tweak the sound by eq, attack, reverb, and chorus effects is pretty awesome. I believe this amp is from the mid-90s and was made in England and the reason I am making this video is to show you how good it sounds. If I&being honest I would much prefer a newer Fishman because of the ability to have Bluetooth connectivity to add backing tracks, but at a base level as a singer/songwriter, this is a great amp to gig with. The amp boasts an output of 80w from the speakers and has 2 10" Celestion speakers which sound fantastic. The downside of this amp is that it is honestly pretty heavy. If you&planning to go busk in the city this might not be the best option because of its weight alone. 0:00 Preview (Fire and Rain) 0:28 Talking Intro 1:57 Fingerpicking Chorus Effect 3:23 Little Reverb 3:40 More Reverb
