CPU Fan Error and How to Fix It

Recently, I worked on a gaming system that had a defective CPU liquid cooling fan replaced. As far as the replacement went, it was successful with one caveat: Whenever the system was rebooted or powered on, it would halt during the startup with the error "CPU Fan Error! Press F1 to run setup". After going into BIOS and exiting, Windows would boot up normally and the system would operate fine. There was no CPU cooling issues as there had been once the liquid cooling system was replaced. However, the fix the above mentioned error required nothing more than a minor tweak in BIOS.
