This Sinclair ZX Spectrum build of Collapse OS runs on the 48K model. The kernel is assembled into RAM, with the editor and assembler applications included into the binary. The BASIC ROM routines are accessed through the provided I/O API. For this demo, operations are done on a small RAM-based filesystem. Porting Collapse OS to the out-of-the-box ZX Spectrum 48K with tape storage is the work in progress.
