In this video I am focusing on 2.4L as that is the most used engine and the engine with lots of potential issues. This engines are famous for oil consumption. I will talk about it in the video in more details. Most important thing to remember is to do regular oil changes every 3,000 miles or less. Other very common thing is a rear main seal leak which is quite a costly repair. It happens due to faulty PCV valve. Water Pump on GMC Terrain will often be making grinding or squealing noise. Even after replacing it might still do the same. Problem is in the Water Pump sprocket. Specialty GM tool has to be used when replacing the water pump to hold the sprocket.
