The Islamic Museum was first inaugurated in the Heritage Area on the Sixth of November 1996 and later relocated and reopened near the Al-Majarrah Waterfront on the Sixth of June 2008. The Museum is the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates, displaying thousands of unique artifacts. These artifacts highlight the great Islamic Civilization from the first Century AH (7 AD) to the fourteenth Century AH (20 AD). Visitors can explore discoveries and inventions of Muslim Scholars collected from various parts of the Islamic World. They are displayed according to their time periods in six distinct galleries. In this video, we are going to see the first part of a series of videos featuring the Islamic Civilization. There are many working models like the Islamic Geography, Water Clock, Elephant Clock, World Map etc. in display. Models of the historical Mosque of Cordoba and Observatory of Jaipur are displayed here. #WaterClock Follow Atyutka on:
