HoTone Omni AC Acoustic Simulator - Electric guitar sounds

I want to record acoustic guitar sound, but I don&have studio or good mic. I hesitated between acoustic guitar with pickup (electro acoustic) and this acoustic simulator. Apparently it could sound better with electro-acoustic guitars. This sound test is for electric guitar, mainly focused which type of pickup would give better tone. P90, Single coil, Humberker.
