VW Golf MK7 (5G) disable Auto Start-Stop system

Auto Start-Stop feature will shut down your engine to preserve fuel but it can have negative impact on components like battery, alternator, starter. Also when the engine is off, the catalytic converter cools down which can make it less effective. In Volkswagen you can disable the auto system with simple coding procedure by changing one of the parameters that need to be met in order for the system to work correctly. This will cause the system to see that all the required conditions are not met and Auto Start-Stop system will not be available.
