I play this song because Kamila Valieva skated her short program to it last skating season. This version is updated from my last; the tempo is correct (the other was too slow) and the edit of this version is exactly the same as Kamila’s SP which meant including a bar of 5/8, where the song is in 6/8. It’s so lovely though. When Kirill performs this with his trio he asks the audience to remember their loved ones who have passed on. Kamila set world records with her scores from this program last season. Some believe that it’s even the most beautiful short program ever skated.
