Bladder Expression with Bella the dog - Wiping Method

In this video, Bella&mum, Debbie, shows us how to express Bella&bladder using the wet wipe method. Debbie cut up a soft blanket to use as wipes. She found a microfibre cloth too harsh for such a delicate area. Debbie uses: - a large reusable pee pad blanket, which can be washed in the washing machine. (you can use a disposable pee pad if you choose) - a bowl of warm water with some antibacterial soap - reusable wipes made from a cut up soft blanket. (disposable wipes are fine too) Soak the reusable wipes in the warm soapy water, then wipe all around your dogs lady area. Apply some pressure to stimulate the need to pee, but do not be rough. As a stream of pee is released, move the large pee pad blanket down slightly, to help keep your dog clean and dry. After your dogs bladder has been expressed, give them one last wipe, then you can spray all around the area with a dog friendly antibacterial spray. To wash the cloths, pop them into an old pillow case and wash in the washing machine. As you can see in this video, Bella is very relaxed throughout the whole process.
