Oskar Merikanto - Valse Lente Op. 33 (Sheet music)

Oskar Merikanto (1868-1924) was a Finnish musician and composer. Another rare gem by a relatively obscure composer! This charming waltz is marked "Tranquillamente" and often performed very slow. However, I prefer to play this with more vigour and passion. A declaration of love and yearning, perhaps? And as always, I enjoyed experimenting with different variations with the repeat sections.
