I have spent a lot of time studying and applying techniques to develop my own personal sound behind the drum kit. My technique is this; Simplicity is key! I take the time to tune my drums properly and get the sound tiptop at the source for recording. Then I use a small amount of creative EQ in Cubase 5 and that&it.
