In this short video, I show how I connect my Steinberg UR44 interface to my Yamaha MSP7 stereo monitor speakers and also to a mono Behringer C50A studio mono monitor. I also show how to connect a condenser microphone, in this case an Rode NT1A which does all you&need it to in a home recording studio. Plus where and how the reference headphones are setup, I use AKG 44&for people I&recording so they can hear themselves back, and for my own headphone referencing and final mixing I use and recommend Sennheiser HD 380 Pro monitoring headphones. I also explain the few little differences between the basic Steinberg CL1 sound interface and what it lacks that the Steinberg UR44 doesn't. It&also, good to remember that the bit rate of the UR44 and the CL1 both operate in 24 bit / 48Khz, which is all you need to record music.
