02544 How to use Remote Start 2016 Fiat 500x - This video shows you how the Remote Start feature works on a 2016 Fiat 500x. You need to use the key fob remote and make sure the doors are locked. Then press the start button two times (quickly) and then the horn will beep two times (and the lights will flash two times), then after a few seconds, the engine will start. It&a bit weird because of the short time delay before the engine actually starts, but it&better than running out in the cold to start the engine on a cold winter morning. Also, please note: if the remote start feature is activated too many times in a row, the computer will think the buttons are being "accidentally pressed in your pocket" and the feature will become disabled. To re-enable the feature, a screen on the main dash board display will say "Remote Start Disabled - Start engine to enable."
