The Bring-A-Trailer, online auction for this replica Porsche Speedster is now live and can be accessed directly using this link: I was fairly reluctant and not very motivated when a longterm client and friend asked me to assist him with the sale of this Porsche Speedster Replica. As most of you know, I am not a fan of replicas and recreations, especially given the endless number that come up for sale here with our friends at Bring-A-Trailer and how many originals and have come and gone through our doors over the past three plus decades... I was back in California to spend a solid week photographing, videoing and getting drone footage of our various new vehicles for upcoming BaT auctions and decided to get this Porsche out of the way and finished first. I spent a few moments going over the car and was surprised to see not only how well made it was but how tidy and well kept and more surprised to see that it had not even turned 2K miles since its construction. It started easily and made a very pleasant sound at idle and even better as it went through the gears. It only took a few minutes and I started smilingly and found the car not only nice to drive but absolutely a total joy in every way possible.
