This is my solo classical guitar recording of Maxixe by the Paraguayan composer Agustín Barrios Mangoré. I hope you enjoy it! About Bráulio Bosi: Born in Colatina, Espirito Santo, Brazil he has been playing guitar for 15 years, starting at the age of 13. Bráulio has won multiple competitions and performed in many venues, theater productions, festivals and concerts throughout Brazil and the United States. Like most young guitarists he started out playing Rock music on Electric Guitar with his high school band before falling in love with the art of Classical Guitar. Beginning his formal musical study at the Federal University of Espirito Santo in Brazil with a Bachelors degree in Music Education he continued on to complete a Masters degree at Oklahoma City University and a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, both in Guitar Performance while on a full scholarship. Dr. Bosi researches in the field of performing arts medicine and has co-authored a book on musician’s health entitled “The Musician’s Health in Focus: Multiple Perspectives” as well as a published dissertation and multiple articles on the same topic of an injury free career.
