In this short how to guide, I demonstrate how to check the oil level on a 997-series 911 Turbo, including generation 1, 2 and also the Gen 1.5. The 911 Turbo 997 needs to be warmed up and running at idle to check the oil level. I show you on the on board computer how to perform this check, which should be done every 2-4 weeks ideally. These 911 Turbos are dry sump lubricated, derived from the GT1 le mans racer, in fact the block is a modified aircooled unit with water cooling. The engine is incredibly robust and can be modded to huge horsepower figures. The service interval reminder is also viewable and I show how to look this up as well in this video.
