With a firm footing in the six-figure territory, looks matter so the folks at GM&Bowling Green, KY put the composite body through an elaborate paint process that produces stunning results. The sleek black shell is topped with ZR1 visual cues that include a carbon fiber splitter, a radiused carbon fiber hood with a polycarbonate window, carbon fiber side skirts, function heat extractors in the fenders, and a carbon fiber roof panel. Flip that exclusive hood forward to find one of GM&mighty LS9 V8 engines. Derived from the Corvette C6R racing program, the engine starts with an aluminum block filled with a forged steel crankshaft, cast aluminum flat top pistons, and a high performance camshaft. Topped by aluminum heads, a high-flow intake manifold, and an Eaton supercharger, the mill turns out a staggering 638hp and 604lb-ft of torque while remaining both emissions friendly and surprising good with fuel economy.
