Famous Face-Off
This was my first session with this rather slow and stiff defensive blade, using SuperGlanti on it. I have used this blade one training session before but with Trouble Maker ox, that worked ok (I am still very new to LP ox). But with SG blocks are very safe, although bat angle is important, as well as grip and where on the blade the ball hits. A rather tight grip is needed for good blocks and spin reversal is clearly better when ball hits the lower part of the bat, near the handle. This makes me want to reduce the size of the bat, that may make it even better (and a little lighter, it weights 86 gram). This blade is very good for FH. Blocking and looping, especially counter looping is very good for being a def blade. But in this video I was mostly focused on getting to know the blade on BH with this anti. Still some things I need to alter, like how much force I should use forward when blocking a slow ball (I dropped many of those to the net or the edge of the net).
