Before you begin: Remove the battery, optical drive, base enclosure, wireless module, USB board, primary storage drive, subwoofer, front speakers, fan, system board, and display panel assembly. Removal Remove the power connector from the adhesive and retention tab that secure it to the top cover and remove. Replacement Place the power connector under the retention tab on the top cover and apply pressure to adhere it into place.
