Sekiro - FPS Unlock - Enemy attack goes through my parry/block and nothing happens

Sometimes when parrying or blocking in Sekiro, the enemy&attack just goes through the block and my character model, but nothing happens. Neither I nor the enemy lose posture or health. It&really annoying, and I feel like I&the only person experiencing this issue. I keep seeing people say that unlocking this game&framerate doesn&introduce any issues, but this is blatantly an issue I&only having when trying to run the game higher than 60fps.
