I don&have any rights for the song or any part of it. "She Only Lies" is a solo song by Kurt and it was only released on "Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck", so I¬ sure if it actually qualifies as a Nirvana song. But I see some reasons to think so. The song was written in 1987-1988, when the band already existed; and many Kurt&solo recordings from the same period can be found on official Nirvana releases. So why make an exception for "She Only Lies"? There&a lot of speculation on "She Only Lies" being about Courtney, but this has nothing to do with the reality since they didn&even know each other when the song was written. Probably, the only woman who possibly could inspire Kurt in 1987-1988 to write such harsh and hateful lyrics, was his mother; their relationships were not that healthy. And maybe the song is not about a real person at all.
