Gm LS oil pump alignment / replacement

GM Ls oil pump alignment. This will work on all the LS and LQ General Motors engines. This happens to be a Melling oil pump on a 416ci stroked LS3 for my Trailblazer SS. Use 3 or 4 feeler gauges between crank and inner rotor. Another 3 to 4 feelers between the outer rotor and oil pump housing to provide an even gap all around. The number doesn&matter, what matters is that it&even all around. In this case used .006" and .003" feeler gauges. About this engine - This LS3 is running a stroker crankshaft, 416ci now with 11.5:1 compression. Going into RWD TBSS not a vette, as you might have figured looking at the cam sprocket. :) get some of these - removed the for sale link, ask and I&recommend a vendor. 2 pack of feeler gauges - once again removed the for sale link. melling high pressure oil pump - removed for sale link, ask and I&recommend a place to buy. The block in the video happens to be a 416" ls3 from Thompson Motorsports Texas. This particular engine ran All Motor 11&The current owner now has added nitrous and put down 650hp, to the ground!
