Edifier S350DB / S351DB drivers in Free-Air

Took apart my Edifier S351DB just for curiousity. Easy to say that I&really impressed! Everything is built very good with very high quality made drivers that have thick and strong aluminum baskets and beefy large magnets. Cabinets are 100% made in thick (2") MDF. Also, coil sub is 2" and all drivers are very well vented. I mean, even my 1500€ Audio Pro LV33 speakers don&have such quality inside! Remember these cost 250~300€. The subwoofer driver is 8" (20cm), it has polypropylene cone, rubber surround, double stacked ferrite magnet, aluminium basket and 2" aluminium coil. Also notice how the tinsel leads are sewed on the spider, like many car subs do. This driver is not really quiet, it actually has plenty of mechanical noises but that&totally okay as inside the box with its amp you can&hear them. Also, the sub doesn&have a lot of excursion when boxed, just on VERY high volumes. The midrange driver is about 4" (10cm), it has aluminium cone, rubber surround, shielded ferrite magnet, aluminium basket and 1" aluminium coil. Tinsel leads are sewed on the spider too just like the sub. The tweeter driver is 4" (10cm including its flange) and everything and has a 0.75" (1,9cm) titanium dome. Notice how it has a foam ring around it to prevent resonances. -?????-
