- It&been around 7 months since the first time I built with the iconic Fractal Terra chassis. I&been itching to build a blackout version ever since for my studio... This time it&personal. Timecodes, though I don&recommend skipping for visual narrative reasons! 00:00 - A Calming Intro 00:57 - Build Hardware 01:30 - Motherboard Assembly 04:01 - Terra Assembly 06:02 - Temps & Airflow Visual 06:35 - Cinematic & Desk Setup 08:40 - Coffee Thanks & Outtakes The Fractal Design Terra chassis bridges the gap for small form enthusiasts and first time builders alike. The open nature of the case design simplifies assembly whilst offering great hardware support thanks to its adjustable backbone. For this build I wanted to assemble a blackout gaming PC with modest performance to be used in the studio for light gaming and running creative applications such as Lightroom & Photoshop. It goes without saying that the RX 7900 XT & Ryzen 5 7600 combo gets the job done nicely, without the worry of excessive heat. Speaking of heat, the additional bottom intake fan helps to push warm air away from the GPU when idle and under load. Further to this, it gives the chassis a little more airflow direction and whilst it¬ particularly needed in the first place, it&welcomed for sure. For my final thoughts on the Fractal Terra, check out the paragraph below the following links: Main parts included in the build: (USA Amazon) GPU - RX 7900 XT Lights used to film this video: Main parts...
