West End Little League Pirates Meet Some "Real" Ball Players!

Yesterday the Pirates had the AWESOME opportunity to meet some "REAL" baseball players. The Cincinnati Reds organization was nice enough to come out and do some Q&A with the kids and also help them with their pitching skills. The kids enjoyed hearing about what it takes to make it to the "Big Leagues" and how focused and determined you truly must be. They also learned how very important it is to keep your grades up and study hard to stay sharp, not just on the field, but in our minds. They critiqued the kids and gave them personalized pointers on what they could do to better their game. The players were so patient and answered every question that the kids threw their way. They also stayed after to sign autographs and take a few pictures. A big thanks to Matt, Jordan, Mr. Servino, and the Cincinnati Reds organization!!!
